The Ninth Meeting of the Executive Steering Committee was held at the Sheraton Hotel in the city of Montevideo, and was attended by representatives of the South American countries as well as officials from observer organizations and institutions that make up the Technical Coordination Committee (CCT) IIRSA .

The objective of the Ninth Meeting of the CDE was to analyze the achievements and progress made at IIRSA during 2007 under the management of the four strategic lines of action from 2006 to 2010, to recapitulate the general progress of the process and establish IIRSA plan 2008 action .

On the occasion of this meeting document "IIRSA Project Portfolio 2007 Indicative Territorial Planning" was presented, This document summarizes the evolution of the Portfolio since 2003 and presents the results achieved in 2007.
