On April 19, 2017, the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, hosted the Special Meeting on the Review of the Strategic Action Plan (PAE), which was attended by delegations from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Guyana, as well as by representatives of civil society organizations, the UNASUR General Secretariat, and COSIPLAN-IIRSA’s Technical Coordination Committee. In addition, the delegations of Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay have participated in a virtual way.

The objectives of the meeting were: present and agree upon the objectives, methodology and criteria for the PAE five-year review; present a diagnosis of the results attained as of December 2016 concerning its six objectives and their respective actions; and identify any proposed adjustments.
