Meeting of the Working Group on GIS and COSIPLAN Website

On May 20, 2014, the city of Montevideo, Uruguay, hosted the Meeting of the Working Group on the COSIPLAN Geographic Information System and Website, which was attended by delegations from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela as well as by representatives of the UNASUR General Secretariat and of IIRSA Technical Coordination Committee.
The meeting objectives and results were: i) assess the progress of the COSIPLAN Geographic Information System as well as the actions underway; ii) review and establish guidelines for updating the Work Plan for the development of the COSIPLAN GIS; iii) initiate a debate aimed at establishing the basic guidelines for the development of the COSIPLAN Website.
