III Meeting of National Coordinators

The Third Meeting of National Coordinators was held at the Headquarters of the Institute for the Integration of Latin America and the Caribbean (INTAL), where the Secretariat is IIRSA, and was attended by representatives of the South American countries as well as officials institutions that make up the Technical Coordination Committee (CCT) of IIRSA.

The purpose of this meeting was to analyze the results of indicative planning exercises carried out in the framework of the Executive Technical Groups (AWG) of the eight axes Integration and Development (EID) held in the city of Quito, Ecuador, between 15 and 17 October 2003 and in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia , between 4 and 6 November 2003 . Also, we evaluated the next steps to be addressed within the framework of the agreed Work Plans GTE referrals, with a view to consideration at the Fifth Meeting of the Executive Steering Committee (CDE) and a presentation was made of the factors Analysis of Project clusters emerged in each EID and validation mechanisms thereof are discussed .

Concerning the Sectoral Integration Processes (PSI) work plan for the implementation of each is examined, with particular emphasis on the key challenges and needs.

Also, the presentation of the new website of IIRSA was performed, including the mechanisms of content validation and updating of information, and the scheme of work was analyzed to be applied for selecting the logotype of IIRSA as a result of competition groups convened for that purpose, and other topics related to the work agenda and preparations for the Fifth Meeting of the CDE is treated .

In the framework of the Third Meeting of National Coordinators of the results of diagnostic studies and Sectoral Process Facilitation of Border Crossing and presented a work plan for the preparation of the work contained therein is developed.
