The Sixteenth Meeting of National Coordinators was held in the Auditorium Raul Prebisch in INTAL headquarters in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on days 29 and 30 July 2010.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the South American countries as well as officials of the institutions that make up the Technical Coordination Committee (CCT), (IDB, CAF and FONPLATA), and was chaired by Ms. Graciela Oporto, Under-Secretariat of Public Investment Territorial Planning of  Ministry of Federal Planning, Public Investment and Services of Argentina, who is the Chairman of the Executive Steering Committee (CDE) of IIRSA, during this period.

The objective of the meeting was analyze the functioning of the Initiative and its Action Plan in the framework of UNASUR, particularly since the creation of the South American Infrastructure and Planning Council (COSIPLAN).
