The Fourteenth Meeting of National Coordinators was held in the Auditorium Raul Prebisch in INTAL headquarters in Buenos Aires, Argentina, during the 25th to 26th August 2009.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the South American countries as well as officials from observer organizations and institutions that make up the Technical Coordination Committee (CCT), (IDB, CAF and FONPLATA) , and was chaired by Ms. Graciela Oporto, Territorial Secretary for Public Investment Planning Ministry of Federal Planning, Public Investment and Services of Argentina, who is the Chairman of the Executive Steering Committee (CDE) of IIRSA , during this period.

The objectives of the meeting of National Coordinators were: (i) monitoring the work plan of the Initiative for 2009 , with special emphasis on results and next steps in the topics specified in the agenda of the meeting, (ii) to reflect the new regional context from the creation of the Council of Ministers of Infrastructure and Planning of UNASUR, and (iii) receive representatives of the Mesoamerican Integration and Development Project and the Civil Society .
