• Brazil - Uruguay Binational Project: Multimodal Transportation in the Laguna Merín and Lagoa dos Patos System

This study is a concrete application of the EASE Methodology to the territorial context of the Multimodal Transportation in the Laguna Merín and Lagoa dos Patos System Binational Project. This project forms part of Project Group 2, within Integration and Development Hub 7 MERCOSUR-Chile, and is one of the 31 Structured Projects of the Integration Priority Project Agenda (API) of South America.

• Project Group 2 of the Southern Hub: “Binational Tourist Circuit” – Lakes Area between Argentina and Chile

The general purpose of this study is to conduct an analysis and evaluation of the environmental and social consequences of executing Project Group 2 of IIRSA Southern Hub, which involves the Binational Tourist Circuit, and to propose strategies and recommendations designed to tap into the opportunities and minimize the risks resulting from such execution through the application of the EASE methodology.

• Rehabilitation and Paving of the Pehuenche International Border Crossing Project

After the study, the Pehuenche Program incorporates a plan with a set of safeguards and a framework for action, designed to include the environmental and social dimension in the different investments that form part of the Second Stage of the Program Planning Cycle. This plan, in turn, may also be supportive of various concurrent strategic plans, programs and projects being implemented by different jurisdictions, which were identified through participation during the EASE process.

• Project Group 6 of the Andean Hub: Colombia - Ecuador Connection

The output of this first application involves: i) tendencies and scenarios of the territory resulting from the analysis of strategic factors (critical aspects, implications, risks and opportunities) associated with the execution of the Project Group; ii) strategies, lines of action and magnitude of the investments required to build more sustainable development and integration options associated with the execution of the Project Group; iii) environmental and social recommendations for the planning and design of the projects in Group 6 not yet implemented and for the projects still being in the construction, improvement or rehabilitation phase.
