On May 22, 2014, the city of Montevideo, Uruguay, hosted the III Meeting of the COSIPLAN Working Group on Telecommunications.

The expected results were: i) define the proposed Technical Cooperation agreement related to the “South American Integration Connectivity Network” project; ii) establish the necessary steps for coordination with the South American Defense Council; iii) within the framework of concerted actions with the South American Defense Council, incorporate the issue of cybernetic defense; iv) assess telecommunications projects included in the COSIPLAN Project Portfolio in the context of the tasks and actions entrusted to the Working Group.
